1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using SnapStaq, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What SnapStaq Is

SnapStaq is a photo delivery platform that allows photographers ("Photographers") to share galleries with their clients ("Clients"). Photographers manage their own content and client relationships. SnapStaq provides the infrastructure to do so.

3. Your Account

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• One person or business may not maintain more than one account.

4. Photographer Responsibilities

• You own and are solely responsible for all photos and content you upload.
• You confirm you have the rights to upload and share all content on this platform.
• You must not upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights.
• You are responsible for any agreements you have with your own clients regarding photo delivery, licensing, and usage rights.

5. Client Access

Clients access galleries via links shared by Photographers. Clients may download photos only where the Photographer has enabled downloads. SnapStaq does not independently grant Clients any rights to photos beyond what the Photographer permits.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use SnapStaq to distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation
• Abuse, overload, or interfere with SnapStaq's infrastructure
• Use automated scripts or bots to scrape or abuse the platform
• Resell or redistribute access to SnapStaq without written permission

7. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all photos and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant SnapStaq a limited licence to store, display, and deliver that content to your intended recipients on your behalf. We will never use your photos for marketing or any purpose outside of delivering them to your clients.

8. Storage and Data

SnapStaq stores your photos securely on Cloudflare R2 infrastructure. Photos you delete are moved to a trash state and permanently deleted after 30 days. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

9. Subscriptions and Data Retention

SnapStaq operates on a paid subscription basis. The following applies when a subscription lapses or is not renewed:

• Your account and galleries will remain fully accessible for a grace period of 10 days from the date of expiry.
• If you do not renew your subscription within 10 days, all your data — including all photos, collections, and associated files — will be permanently and irrecoverably deleted from our servers.
• SnapStaq will send a reminder email before deletion. It is your responsibility to ensure your contact email is current and that you download any files you wish to keep before the grace period expires.
• SnapStaq is not liable for any data loss resulting from a lapsed subscription.

We strongly recommend downloading a local backup of your files before your subscription expires if you do not intend to renew.

10. Service Availability

We aim for the highest uptime possible, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. SnapStaq is not liable for any loss resulting from downtime or service interruptions.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination for violation, your data will be retained for 10 days before permanent deletion. You are encouraged to download your content before this period expires.

12. Limitation of Liability

SnapStaq is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapStaq and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email when material changes occur. Continued use of SnapStaq after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
